Depends on the type of g/card you have to what connection you use.

HDMI - you need a HDMI compatible TV

DVI - this can come in several ranges from an s-video cable to a DVI - Scart lead, but with the DVI- SCART you need to make sure its got all necessary connectors.

RGB - all that requires is an output cable.

S-VIDEO - is almost identical to RGB in the way it works.

Wireless adapator - DLINK - DPG-2100

As for MAC to PC with the hard drive, would depend on the MAC drive.

MAC SCSI - PC = SCSI - IDE converter or SCSI - SCSI PCI CARD = RAID ARRAY

Its for a mate at work i know you can get the wireless monitor cables as i set up some for my old company awhile back cost me £30 each to buy them at trade, he has a hd tv

If its HD then he needs to check if the G/Card has HDMI if not then there really is no point in hooking up the pc to the TV.

You can do i primarilly on the VGA cable if the TV has VGA port, but wouldn't advise this if he wants to play HD DVD as the qualty aint that good.
