Help with getting on servers...

Hi, I've just finished d/ling and installing EI but I dunno how to get on the servers. I tried changing the Mir3.ini file to the priv server IP and caption/name, but when i go to connect it starts to d/l a 450Mb patch

Any1 know if there's sumthin else I need to change plz?

OK I managed to get a server on and created an account. Aswell as changin the Mir3.ini to the correct IP, caption and name I also changed the Mir3Patch.ini to the correct IP and d/led an Account Maker, changed the IP to the server I wanted and made an account succesfully. Then I went in through the Mir3.exe, logged into my account and made a char, but when i click to go ingame mir minimizes, then when i open it up again i get a load of korean text and all i can do is ALT + F4 to close it >.<

Any1 know wot im doin wrong?
