Hex editor never works??!

When i try and search for a hex string so that i can replace it, it always says, "HEXSTRING INVALID", or something of the sort... how do i make it work, or what hex editors do u lot use please? thanks... ( yes i do type in the right hex digits)... but still cant find it, or it dosent work ffs...!!!

hex editors are never wrong, they all work properly, u still must remember that server files can change easily, also vergin m2servers can be different according to the version... so u must search for the correct info in the right way

Make sure that if your useing hex workshop you put space inbetween each one so instead of a1b2c3 its a1 b2 c3 etc

what hex editors do u lot use please?

If you look on hexing help there are links to two D/l's,
these are what most ppl use.

and HexWorkshop

I got both, this way its very easy to hex something, and you can make sure your doing it right by doing it with one, and checking it with the other.
