I can't get my new Router working

i have just got a new router and i can not get it to work i have dun every thing the router guide says but i still cant get it to work my old router is BT Voyager 205 ADSL Routermy new one is a Evo-ASR8400 OvisLink ADSL Modem/Router switch 4 port 10/100 mbps

Is your service compadible with this router?

What you need new router for anyway, more options like port fowarding etc, or more ports?

for mor ports i have go to the stage where i can get on to the 10.0.0.2 page but i cant get it to conect to the web i think i need the bt MUT number i think it is 1453 but i try that and it still dus not work

If it's just more ports, than use your oringal router > crossover cable> new router.

And disable dchp on the new router.

i have got it working now but just on 1 pc on the 2nd pc i cant get it working i think it coz i deleted my Local Area Connection but new i cant get it back on my pc >.< i tryed making a new one but is dus not work

llol tbh im having sort of the same prob lol my comps can c each other from each other if u no wot i mean >.< but no connection im on ADSL conny (it used 2 work)

of my network place or my Local Area Connection i dont have it any more delete it coz it did not work i neeed to now how to make one

start>settings>control panel>network connections

If you disabled it, just go to device manager and re-enable it.

i just got a new router..
and it worked fine...
my old router was belkin and my new is linkys
my belkin one use to dissconnect every 1-2 hours so i found it annoyning

when i installed my new router most of the other comps internet wernt workin..
so i just disabled them and kept repairing untill it worked...
somtimes take out ur router wire and put it bk in...:whathuh:
