Ok so my new pc should be arriving in the next few days its already got a 1tb hdd but im wanting a ssd aswell to run my games and a few other things from for the obvious speed advantages that they offer, just wondering what the fastest one i could get for about 50-70 quid? preferably 120gb + ?

I've only had a bad SSD experience with OCZ and I'll never buy anything of theirs again.

Keep away from WD, we've replaced loads of these recently.

WD is a harddrive manufacturer, it's never good when they try and branch out in to memory.

Go for a drive where they regularly make ram sticks.

Corsair, Crucial, Samsung, OCZ etc

120gb will fill up very quickly after windows updates, I put the OS and a few programs I regularly use on it, the rest goes on my hard drive

You should go for a 260gb SSD as a minimum; Dont forget to turn Off indexing/searching/restore/Scheduled Defragmentation/Superfetch/Prefetch/Hibernation, also change the page file to a different hard drive than the SSD.
