inviting ppl to server <if in a network>

k i have my server ready , i can invite ppl on same network and they can log/play fine , but i need to know how to open server for online users ....

i use my network ip for enternal usage of network say 100.100.100.1

now i went to whatsmyip.com and got my net IP , what do i need to make it open for others , and where to place that ip ??


plz help ...
ive been searching forums since ages and cant find anything.

by the way i mean by network : LAN ,
and i play on a station "server on station" not on server.
