Heroes Issues with server

can any one help ?

i have created a mir2 heroes server and i have advertised with my external ip, so a couple of friends are able to log on and test for bugs

- external users can login fine ,

however when i try to logon to server using my laptop i cannot,

i can create accounts, and login to account, Howerver it will not display the chars to me and im unable to login ,

any help on this matter ??

EXTERNALIP

the ports i have forwarded on router to server : 7000,7100 and 7200

Sorry, I should probably point out I tend not to browse other sections that often. You'd get quicker help by posting in the Heroes section. From what I know it sounds maybe like a loopback issue. You could try connecting to the server using 127.0.0.1 yourself or your 192.168 address.
