Legend Of MIR II Heros: The Return of the Beard!
Is a free to play Legend Of Mir II Heros server, that is currently under development.
Start Level: 7
Start Gold: 50,000
Start Items: A class dependent apprentice robe, the first weapon in your armoury will either be a Wand or a Sword.
Starting Spells: Fireball/Fencing/Healing
Server Features and Specifications
*Beginner Tuition - Receive tuition from the Beard Gods for your first 22 levels. In this time you will receive EXTRA exp and you will be taught your first spells (to a level 3 standard). At 22 you will be given a brand new armour to further assist you on your travels.
*Level up Bonuses - As you progress through the levels (30 and onwards) you will receive a level up bonus for every 5 levels completed. These bonuses will range from Gold Bars to new content (access to locked NPC's which contain a reem of benefits.)
*Unique Quests - When your bored of levelling why not go on a voyage of discovery with the potential to earn yourself various rewards? Some quests are as easy as collecting meat, some just require you to visit all provinces however some will test you right to the reaches of your capabilities. The rewards can be great, so will you take up the challenge?
*Bored of there being too few mobs...not enough spread about? - We are too! and therefore we have radically upped the mongen rate, to ensure mobs spawn quickly and generously.
*Tri KR System - Tired of the SAME people camping the SAME bosses? We at the return of the beard are aware that this can have a real negative impact on your gaming experience and believe we have came up with an answer. There will be 3 versions of each of the caves and 3 KR's. Each boss mob will spawn 3 times and therefore thats 3 times the potential drops right? Wrong. On a two daily basis the drops of the bosses will be switched. One boss will drop above its level, one will drop equandescent to its level and one will reward the player with some well deserved potions. Which one will you choose?
*30 minute boss spawns - You heard right...every 30 minutes!!!
*Level locked caves - We at return of the beard believe that whilst its dog eat dog, its a little unfair for a level 10 to be going sword to sword with a level 50 when hunting for mobs. Therefore we have also introduced clone caves that have level restrictions on them. But be warned, these caves do not have a KR and the exp is slightly less then the main cave will give....therefore the question is do you go large or go home?
*Completly customised database - Yes you will still recognise a lot of the items from your euro days, however please be assured that all of the rubbish has been stripped out (Naga Necklace?!?!) and only key class specific items have been kept. New generic items have then been added to bulk the database up and also class specific items too. Items have been added up to the level of 80 which we consider to be a high level on this server.
*Heros - Of course heros have been added! It wouldnt be Hero Mir II without them! However, as these are very powerful animals we have decided there will be a catch... The only way to obtain a Hero is to do a quest. Now this quest will be completable by everybody at all levels but it will rely on an element of pure luck. But never fear, if you fail the quest you can simply retake it in an hours time.
*Overview - Ok, its those dreaded words: "Euro Clone". This usually means someone sticks a server up which is completely euro based and they promise lots of updates that never come. Well the good news is we have already applied a vast amount of these updates. We have crammed extra items in between 20-40 and then created further totally unique items all the way up to 80. No fear, there are no complete items. (items with stats for all classes), there are just lots and lots of unique items. There are for each class 5 combos (ring/brace/neck) to collect.
With the addition of the Tri KR system we also believe that hunting the euro caves will not be boring as you are almost always guaranteed a boss at the end, so we decided not to add new caves. NOT. we have added numerous new worlds for you to hunt in all with exciting new and familiar bosses to slay.
I have answered a few common Questions regarding the server below:
Q - How rare is gold - Gold is not too rare on the server, but you will still need to work for it. We feel its important to have a balanced server dynamic, however as the 50k starting allowance indicates, we are generous with it.
Q - What rate of levelling is the server - I would say its medium to high rate. Imagine euromir where 40 was high. Well consider on here that if you are level 90-100 then you are at the top end of the spectrum to where we would expect.
Q - Do you accept donations - We have no plans to at the moment, but that doesnt mean that we wont in the future. If we do then it will only be for acquisitions that are not too damaging to the server.
Q - How many GamesMasters will there be - None. There will be noone on the admin list other then myself. All support queries will be handled on our dedicated forum on LOMCN.
Q - When do you expect to launch Summer 2011 at the very latest.
