I suspect also that it gets deleted..
Easy enough to test.. make an item (i.e. a Weapon), wear it and then log out so that it saves what you are wearing in the database.
Look in DB and get the Item Number from the database..
Log back in and drop the item (or remove it using GM Command) then log back off and run a query for that item number.
I am pretty sure that it doesn't store the number anywhere (apart from in Memory) of items that are on the floor, so as soon as you drop it, it moves from the PC's memory of you holding it, to the PC's memory of it on the floor. And when the database is updated, the item will be removed from all databases.
