Mobile Phone/ File type help

i think this is the right place to post.

I just got a Samsung Z140V mobile phone for xmas.

Now it can play movies but i crnt seem to get any onto it. I have uploaded pictures and sounds from my comp to my phone, but every time i try a video it says invalid file format.

Its a Mpeg and ones in my phone are MPEG4 .....

any way i can covert the files or if ne1 knows how to get it onto the phone as it is.

Aight, no doubt they're h.264 video files.

What you need is an AVC encoder. Looked at those dodgy Xoom things, yet?

Or even, google "avi to mp4 converter".

that seems to bug me alot too, new phone = new type of format.

i just seem to find em around, download.com, google, anything thats simple and works does me fine.

Has anyone got the samsung Z140V ????????????????????????????????

I need to know how to keep the backlight on....

when i close the phone i have a screen on the front which displays the time or music im playing....

but when its closed for about 5 seconds it goes off...like its on a batterysaver or summit, but i crnt find anything in the booklet or the internet :@

Anyone find nehtin on the net or have this phone and know if it can be done????

when i search on tinternet all i get is places which sell the phone, and not help sites and ive tried the vodaphone help site and nowt >.<
