That's _mighty_ peculiar. Are you saying the SPD ram timings were wrong?
If so, complain to customer services ASAP. You never know, they might send you something free
Complaining about stupid little features usually dose sweet FA. God knows how many people complained about Asus' false statement that "VCore is adjustable in the BIOS" when it isn't.
You have to lay it on pretty thick mate. "I got trouble in work and lost my chance at a promotion due to the fact i could not complete a report i had stored on my unstable system"....well you get the picture lol.
