My Ram

I started with 512mb and added another 512 today but i only get like 768Mb.

i know the computer takes some ram off u but 232mb? or is that normal?

im running win XP Pro sp3

i also added a Radeon 9500 Graphics card.

any ideas ?

or is that ment to use it?

think ill just go buy 2GB ram 2moro.

did you have to remove an old ram to make way for the 512 one?

nope just added it to the other slot

even on load up it says only 768mb or something but im sure both are 512mb

im sure both are 512mb

512 + 256 = 768, one of your sticks of RAM is 256mb.

lol opps didnt even notice.

well i put the new ram in its self and it did say it was only 256mb or what ever but its a 512mb of ram.

nvm ill just get more ram 2moro saves all the hassle lol
