need help pls

well i can't creat char's. I put in teh name of the char etc, say ok and it isnt made (its not getting recorded...) does any 1 know how 2 fix this plz ?i did everything like disable unpnp,antiviruse programe,etc plus i cant find this mir2sql2000backup thing thanks

Obviously your server isn't running correctly.... i.e. character aren't saving to the db server, which generally means your SQL isn't working right.

if ur saying u cant find the mir2sql back up.... its likely u havnt even restored it, so there is no connection/ database for the DBserver to connect 2, im bettin dbserver / m2 have errors about SQL

as i said, theres no connection to MySQL.

uve either not installed it / not restored the backup / odne wrong passwords etc etc

either way, uve not set it up properly, re read thro guides

well i know im annoyin u but im sure ull help me ;p
the screen wich i post it, it was for 2.3mir server
but im cba sort it, its a bit hard for me.now im tryin 2 make a 1.9 server, i did everything reet but got only 1 small problem i can make a char but cant log in game cuz im getting a chainees msg o.0 and ere a screen.thxxxxx alot , this msg came when i press "start" button

Your on vista, there is a guide on the forums for vista users you need to follow the guide exacally or it wont work, i had the same sort of problem but it will work if you just follow the guide.

By the looks of it your using sql 2000? Vista will only run sql 2005 and you will need the service pack for it.

no m8 im not usin vista, im usin windows XP,and im usin BDE Administrator not sql
