i know i need to get the chinese lip so i can crack 3.55 but for some reason you cant change it on vista home like you can on xp is there any thing i can do about this or just go back to xp?

I'm not aware of anyone hosting from a Vista computer and i know a few who tried, failed. Best to stick to a OS you know works and you will avoid any problems.

If you can get it working then good luck to you, Vista as a home OS doesn't have fully intergrated Server application support. Your better off getting longhorn(vista server edition) then having a try.
