It may be a 1.9 and you may think, "omg itz a turbo!!" but thanks to it being diesel it will not be as fast as you think. My old car was a Bravo 1.9L TDI (JTD) but when my 1.6L VTR was standard it still kicked the **** out of it.

Buy a 1.2, save your money, get some miles in it and then buy a 2.0L GTI-6 in a year or two - sorry to sound like your dad, but its true.

Ouch... 1.9 TDI been beat by a standard VTR.

There nippy, but nothing special. Personally I'd say dont bother, but im not a fan of 306's, i prefer 106 and 206... but not keen on Peugeots.

Mate had a 306 had it chipped etc etc, spend quite abit on it, beat Scooby's with ease, but as he's a tit of a driver, he smashed it up.

Now drives a ZR.

a+i arent the same letter nor do they make the same sound.

Maybe you should spend the money on english lessons and buy yourself a pedal bike?

they are fast just dont expect any kind of performance in low gears, my gf's brother had one once it got past those low gears it could keep up with his m8's focus st170. check the electronics tho, windows and such.

how the hell can you afford to insure a 1.7dti 51 plate astra!? especially after you decided to try and reshape a metal fence.

or does Daddy pay for your insurance?

His mummy gets his insurance or whatever, however if he keeps ****ing cars over, and his mum keeps insuring him, then eventually he will branded as uninsurable, and his mum will lose her job for selling insurance to obvious liabilities.

A girl on my college course who bragged about passing her test before me crashed 3 times, at which point the insurance company said her policy would not be eligible for renewal when it expired, and they wouldn't insure her again untill she turned 23 (5 year wait for her). She tried other places but they all said they no chance. One insurer offered her a policy for £5200
