question about mobile phone / number

im wantin to transfer my number to a new network
ive read up that i need to contact my network provider but im not sure what im sposed to be asking for and i dont know the number to ring. currently im on tesco mobile PAYG and wantin to switch to o2 pay monthly. any1 know what i need to do to keep my number? :dunce:ty

go to a o2 shop, they normally do all the leg work, just go on and say i want to come back to o2 but keep hold of my mobile number.

I think if i remember rightly your new provider will ask you for a PAC, you can get by requesting it from your current provider...

Not 100% as it's been a few years since i've had to do it!
