DON'T USE THEESE FILES, THEY ARE OUTDATED AND ARE ACTUALLY HARDER TO SET UP THAN THE NEW ONES. NEW FILES LOCATED AT

Ok, seeing as lozmuir's link is down, and there is just so many newbies and well plain stupid people (sorry but it is), i have set up a set of files (using the old foundation server files) so all you newbies will stop having that many problems and stop starting stupid threads :P, the files are set for the IP 127.0.0.1 and for the server name Foundation. You need to place the files into C:\mirserver for them to work.

Download Ledu exe here (If you will use the Ledu exe, most of things ingame WILL BE MESSED UP, like mobs looking dodgy, items looking completely wrong etc etc.

PLEASE NOTE: You have to change the regserver details in the setup.txt each time you restart your computer (if your IP adress is dynamic). You will have to run the 3in1.exe each time you run the server, not once.

Also, when you have loaded up the m2server.exe, wait a few minutes untill you see those three messages appear in the end of the m2server.exe log screen:

after that, you can go ingame. If you wont wait untill the last message appears, the notice screen wont come up.

Do not use a server starter. They tend to mess theese particular files up.

To log in, and have your own GM character, use the following details:

ID: GameMaster
Password: gamemaster

im a total |\|008 to LOM server creating...

and this question WILL sound VERY dumn..........

in the read me, it says:

"After your computer has restarted;
Right-click the network connection, and then click Properties.
Click Install.............."

"Right-click the network connection"
right-click wht network connection!??

The path in BDE Administrator, has to be set as:
C:\mirserver\Mir200\DB
Otherwise you wont be able to get it working.

Any errors messages you get that have anything to do with Borland are 100% something to do with DBE and nothing else.
A lot of the time these errors can be fixed by re-installing DB Commander 2000 Pro.

ive done all the stuff with BDE...

i meen, i dont do the stuff with BDE
then type a pwd somewhere, i downloaded this CLIENT+INI.zip

where do i extract that?
and what do i put in the .ini's?

You simply extract the client and the inis to your mir installation folder (not the files, the game itself), and if it asks you if you want to replace an existing file with the one you are extracting, press yes.

but how come most of the items i spawn are invisable?

Because they are set up for some different data than the euro mir data, but i dont really have it anymore.

geting error everytime i go to start OldClient i get the error in

KANL386.EXE Old Client will now close. what can i do to solve this problem?

i have a mir3 game but not mir 2 ....
always all say u need only serverfiles and bde manager and etc.
serverfiles i loaded, bde etc. too

i did all what u told me and much ppl got same problem ( black screen when i start oldmir.exe ..) i have it in c:/mirserver .....i dont have a other lom game .....ip´s are correct bde herodb is correct .....

No Notice/Black Screen Error

On a 1.9 emu server 99.999% of the time this is due to the fact that you are not running/connected to a reg server/3in1.exe

On a 1.4 server most of the time this is because UNPNP is not disabled on your system (UNPNP needs to be disabled for 1.9 emu servers also)

If your 3in1/reg server and UNPNP are not the problem then more then likely
you have an IP or Server Name wrong somewhere.
Go through your .txt and .ini files 1 by 1 and change the ips and server names by hand. (using a server starter may miss 1 or 2 ips)

Is the exe in your mir installation folder along with the ini files? Screenshot the error.

i am using these files but i dont no if im using them rite can ppl tell me were my files shud be pls coz everytime i start up mir a hear about 1 secs of music then my screen flashes and mir shuts down im using the ledu client plz help some1:bover:

I stated in my first post that the files have to be in C:\Mirserver, check the main post for gods sake, that isnt too much to ask is it.

Did you place the ledu exe in your mir installation folder where you would normally place an exe, have you downloaded the ledu data?

The ledu data goes in to your client's data folder, the ledu exe goes in the root directory of the client as in the default would be c:\Program Files\Wemade Entertainment\Legend Of Mir\

i have done everything you sed but as i start all the stuff and i go to start the ledu i press go wen ive started the ledu the music flashes and the screen flaheses but b4 that happnes this comes up

That means you dont have the ledu data. Download some other servers wich uses the ledu client, download that server's data patch.
