but ive been out of mir for about a year, trying to stick a server up again just im getting the problem with doors not opening...

Right, just to make sure it wasnt me forgetting to change names, I left it at ktest... so it cant be that...

To config IP's do I change EVERY 127.0.0.1 or just the ones that the serverstarter changes (are they enuf)

I just feel that I missed one step out, somewhere down the line... and I dont a clue what it was...

Are the server names right in the Server files and the Client files?

it could also be that u need to delete the two files in the C:\Mirserver\mud2\Logsrv\IdDB folder these are the player ids.

I had all names right in client and the server files but found i needed to start my own db instead of using the one that came with the files..


PLEASE NOTE = make a Backup of the files b4 u delete them

damn.. it feels wierd to loose my memory of everything I had...

anyways I cant have names wrong blam as I havent changed em (ie there still ktest) and im just about to try what elvin said...

hmm... so do you change EVERY 127.0.0.1 or just some and do you need to change the servicemode in !setup.txt ??
