Starting up a Server

hey its about time i started my own server i dont no anything apart from map making and would like a guilde how to get it up and running if any1 has the time please can u tell me howtodo it im only wanting it for personal use ATM but if any1 has a guide or a link can u please give me it thanks XD

thanks i got the server files etc but i cant seam to make a account now says sumit about cannot keep char query etc =/

an account? with sql? if you pay close attention to one of them guides they are confirmed to work, very easy to make a mistake though.

lol its easy to get sql 2005 / 2000 up tbh :/ so you will be done within 10mins
