Hey guys, i've just finished putting together my first video for my new youtube channel.

First time ever editting a video and uploading to youtube.

Would greatly appeciate any comments you have on what you think about the video, eg length, quality, content, music, etc. so i know what to improve on for my next one.

I plan on doing one for every main zone i come to, and every big dungeon.

And a thumbs up for the video would go a long way to get my channel some subscribers :)

I would try to skip as much running around as possible, just skip to fighting mobs, but this videos are just showing certain zones in the game so i understand why you never did that, add music but lower the volume on it so you hear more of your attacks in game more.

Quality and render is also a problem, if your using fraps/sony vegas use these render settings.

Type: WMV (Windows Media Video)
Template: 6Mbps HD 720-30p Video

At the bottom you will see tick box's, select Stretch video to fill output frame size. This will remove those black bars you do on your sides.

These are the settings i use, see if you like them.

Anyway subbed + liked.

Thanks for your comments, and with that in mind heres my second video.

I've added music, cut out a lot of running, and attempted to improve the quality.

My rendering was already set to 6Mbps HD 720-30p Video, and i ticked the stretch video box this time, but still seem to have come out with black bars left and right.

Anyway, thoughts & comments about this one too would be great. I'd like to eventually get to a high standard of making videos like these.

WARNING - if you're going to follow the main story and don't want to know the spoilers, you might want to stop watching after 3 minutes (just before the first cinematic starts)

Hmm ok your screen resolution must be high then, when you go to render settings click Custom.
Select the Video tab and find Image Size option drop down list.
Select High Definition (1440x1080).

I don't know if this will work tbh, this will enable 1080 HD in youtube though if you wanted that but will take much longer in rendering.

Another way you can do this is going to your video > edit and in the Tags option put this code, doesn't always work though. yt:stretch=16:9

My resolution is 1920x1050 so it's a weird aspect ratio. Will have a 3rd video done in next few hours or so, so will try your suggested settings then :)

Third video finished. Had an annoying issue with flickering so took me about 10 attempts to render it.

I've managed to fix the black bar issue by turning off 'force aspect ratio'

Tried to get the music more in sync with the gameplay. One thing i haven't fully grasped yet is how to fade in and out of music so its seamless.

Theres no story spoilers in this one.

Let me know what you think :)

Yeah much better, would lower the music a touch though
