You can it test without the UAC-System from Vista, and ahmm I believe you can say it is a Not Vista Software and then it can run normaly.

You have to run them in xp xpcompatibiliity mode for teh gates to work correctly and disable the UAC or you will have problems everythime you connect the gates.

He's still having troubles with it as the gates wont activate with both the UAC dissabled and in xp comp mode.

As ive sugested this might be down to the emulators being created on earlier OS than vista or could just be vista imcompatibilty.

vista is super crap for playing mir3 let alone running a server off it. I had to have vista with mine but I'm thinking of sticking XP on it instead and hoping it works :P

Actually Mir runs fine on vista 32bit and has no problems running.

Vista server edition(longhorn) might be a better thing to try and run the server from.
