I recently formatted my pc and don't have a graphics driver. I am rubbish at all this technical stuff and have been on the sites website and tried a few which didn't work.

do you not have a chipset drivers disk that came with your computer? Well if you know the graphics card or find it out as stated above just go to Nvidia/Ati's etc website and grab the appropriate driver.
No he hasn't as its part of the Acer recovery system.
He needs to use the Acer recovery disk. He needs to go to the Acer website and use the support function on there to get his correct drive for his machine.
