Will a new graphics card help?

Right.. So i have a Dell Inspiron One All in One Pc and on mir im basicly usless in pvp because spells make me lag.

so basically what can i do that will improve my gameplay and help me run smoother?

I very much doubt that PC is strugging in ANY way with Mir.

You might want to get a faster hard drive, if anything.

Trust me when wizzys use spells it makes me useless in pvp

Examine the obvious speed bottlenecks - speed of packets between you & the server, speed of rendering.

So, look at either making your PC get the images faster (aka, faster hard drive) or consider a better internet connection (aka, lower latency broadband).

It wont be my internet connection because the game runs smoothly until a wizz uses spells, its the graphics from the wizz spells that causes lag.

what files is the server on? any particular spell/large screen space spell ?

Its on mir3 official server and its mainly typhoon (tempest) and Firecloud that cause lag.
