I'm looking to buy an Xbox 360 and was wondering where the cheapest place is to get one from. I know eBay is cheap but I want one of the new premium ones that I read now has HDMI connectivity, the same as the new Elite one. I also want a small HD ready TV, I found one on PCWorld for like 180 quid I think. Was wondering what I'd need, just a HDMI cable from the Xbox to the TV?

yep that's all you'll need Shardy as long as you make sure the 360 has the HDMI connector, i don't know for sure if the premium versions have HDMI yet though

tv needs HDMI connector
xbox needs the same
HDMI cable

Apparently from July 2007 they did, but that was wikipedia, and maybe only America ;o Is it worth getting HDMI on Xbox 360? Does look quite insane. It's either Xbox 360 or PC upgrade hehe. Not sure which one to go for.

tbh knowing microsoft playstation and nintendo give it round crimbo and they will all relese new consoles eg xbox unlimited / playstaion 4 / nintendo poo since we have had wii =p

i got a 360 and wii didnt bother with a ps3 as none of the games on it use the full grapixs but 360 do so there probly the best console out atm well anyways

my uncal just got a 360 elite he got the hdmi cable with it if thats any help

Premium 360's don't actually come with a HDMI Cable if I remember correctly.. Only the Elite one does. Just make sure the TV has component connectors and you'll be fine

So all I need to do is buy the HDMI cable and I should be all set. Awesome. Found a TV on eBay for 230 quid I think it was, 27" HD ready TV. I shall do more research.

Another question, I see on Newsgroups that you can download Xbox360 games. Is it a hard process to enable your 360 to play downloaded games?

well i bought the limited edition halo 3 360 and it comes with the hd cable
