ive got a new style vw passat, 1.9 tdi lol

ragged the hell out of it got it to 115mph (just)

company car so no insurance bill costs me about £75.00 a month in extra income tax, but that covers everything road tax, insurance, maint etc etc

its got good torque for a diesel tho so goes well but top end its a bit gutless

VW's are heavy cars, hence why they struggle against some other cars.

Although the Golf GTi's are like **** off a shovel, especially the older ones

i don't know it's max speed as i don't try and rev the tits off it, max speed on clock is 120-140 (i think, so maybe that's it's top speed, i duno) i prefer to be a law abiding citizen, keep my car in good condition, and not have to spend money on speeding fines and new parts for my car that got destroyed by driving like a tit.

Finally a driver with their brain where it should be :agree:

Top speed means nothing but points on your licence, crashes, blown engines, reduces the life of the car, increases it's running costs, casualties and all too often fatalities.

Personally I've had new cars every 2-4 yrs for the last 16 years and i've always bought for economy, comfort and practibility.

7+ yrs no claims discount, £230 a year 1.6i Suzuki, happy at 70 on the motorway, 45-50mpg because unlike some twits I don't over-rev it.

2 fair enough comments from 2 responsible drivers but to some people thats not what cars are + if its a company car all u got to do is fill the tank and not crash it.

Cheers dude, Top End on the bug was Round the Clock,Touching the Other side of the 0 needle and still pulling lol guessing around 130 thou.

Mini is around 95 top end, the fronts not exactly the most aerodynamic + its all about acceleration and Parking in trolley bays in that thing :)

im 21 with 2 yrs NCB (don't get any for being on a classic policy unfortunately) but ive been driving for over 3 years now :)

Capris r nice cars, but ull find its on the drive more than it is on the road :(

Give HIC a Call thou, been with them since i was 19, and Wouldnt Bother with Adrian Flux there just **** imo

Vid of the Bug

I haven't driven it yet - I only ordered insurance on Sunday.

Also don't have tax on it, which can't be done until the insurance documents come through.

Modle - Citroen AX
Engien - 998cc (1.0) Injection sytem
BHP - about 41
0-60 - 14 seconds
Theoretical top speed - 98
What I've had 113
Colour - Matalic blue
Cost - £400
Insurance - Class 3, £750

All and all my car kinda sucks...
but I can keep up with and sometimes pass 1.2 and 1.3 carb.
Top speed was reached on the M1 after about 5 mins of peddle to the floor and was backed up by the reading on our TomTom.

There are some nice items the car has...
Single windowscrean wiper.
No proper handles.
Very nice confy seats.
Need to press clutch in only about 20mm to change gear.
Drinks holders that can fit 1litter bottles in.

Then theres the down points.
The wheels are to small
Suspencion needs hardning.
Bumpers are very fragile.
Very rattley.
No rev counter.
Petrol gauge don't give acuret reading (Could put £25 in and still be red light)

Im actuly looking for a Skoda Ocavia 2.0 V6 RS :D
