A little information regarding the server:

Exp
The exp table has been completly reworked, leveling is a challenge
after 40, but not as hard as euro.

Items
There are only 4 or 5 euro items left in the database, all the rest
have been made and named by the server team.

Rares
As we have over 300 items and no set 'kits' players kits will be different.
The rare items on the server can usually only be obtained from boss mobs.

Quests
As mentioned in the advert we have a Bounty Hunt system which involves the
player hunting down a monster that an NPC needs killing. The reward for these hunts
will vary. You will be rewarded with EXP for every hunt as well as a cash reward.
There are also side quests which offer better prizes and other perks, these can be
located by talking to NPC's.

Files
As some of you may be aware Meteora uses a unqiue file set. The files Meteora uses were coded from the open source development of DM2, this means that we have the ability to add any features we wish to add to the server. This also means that the only way to connect to Meteora is to use our client, existing clients may work but will not display all of the features correctly.

We tried to compress the client as much as possible for people with slower download speeds, the actual download is only roughly 650mb, which then extracts to around 2.4Gb.

The new interface is ugly, unflattering and quite frankly not needed... but i know how much you want to be set apart from other more 'unprofessional' servers.
I know the changing interface was one reason i did not stick around to play/test when it came down to it. Just my opinion, i may only be one person... but if you get 20 players, im 5% of your server population... so its worth taking into consideration.
If it ain't broke don't fix it?

As for the server, looks ace. Unique, original and purely brilliant in all honesty, but the experience isn't for me and I'm addicted to other servers at the moment, so not just yet Too long on the release.

i just aint a kean on low rate hard to lvl 40 type servers >< other wise id prob play

My opinions about the server stand.
People more often than not mistake constructive criticism on this forum for 'flaming' then off they trot on there high horse, putting the poster down. You failed at this, but maybe someone else could try.

The server team have discussed the possibility of giving the player the option to choose between the mir2 and mir3 interface, as of yet we have not come to a decision. If it was decided to give the player the option, the feature would be implimented at a later date.

What's so special about the Mir2 interface?

An interface isn't a reason to not play a server, imo.

They used a new interface and your crying about it, i guess you won't ever play any other game because they have different interfaces?
