Just looking at work done by others in max power, i know alot of people consider body kits etc as chavy but tbh i think this looks quite nice and its custom so he basically has a unqiue car...
Of course there is no way i would be able to afford todo the work like this or pay the insurance after but i must admit i would love me saxo to look like this one.

"It's just chav"? Right. Why not kit up a peugeot, im not a chav mate and neither does my car look chavish. Id rather drive a Peugeot 306 than a Corsa, Corsa's look like something the teletubies would drive where as Pug's look more agressive looking, but hey, each to their own!
If everybody was the same, it would be boring, i like Pug's and i think it would look great kitted up, not chavish.
wheel spin shows power and acceleration, my bro's 1.4 astra can wheel spin, if a 1.8 bmw cant thats appauling.
mental your just into fast cars and realisticaly their expensive aswell as unreliable and tbh you dont realise there are more than 1 good models of a car, such as the older civic's that are just as good lookin and have more potential than the new civic's which come standard with everything you need and are well over priced.
oh and i was watching this program earlier, it finished at 8 o clock and was on either bbc or itv. anyway they said that if your a named driver and you drive more than the person who your on the insurance with, your insurance is void and fraud and if you have an accident they can refuse to pay out etc didnt quite catch the full details.

A 1.1 can wheel spin. It all depends on traction mate, not who's car can wheel spin :P
EDIT: Oh and in my opinion, over the top body kits and people that spend £1000's on modifying cars without touching performance modifications is lame. Its called Riced.

i do hate cars with all the looks but no performance, but 17-20 year olds cant afford to modify their engines as they wont be able to control the car, still learning to drive essentialy.
Induction kit, some good old RedX , New oil bla bla bla... minor cheap things to buy for your car... or even remap the engine if you got a diesel.. all cheap and effect performance.
My friends dad has the new vectra cdti and it added an additional 50bhp just by remapping it.

Never heard of this tbh but more than likly its true insurance companys try to get out of paying claims any way possible. A friend of mine changed his wing mirrors without declaring it and they wouldnt pay out.
I highly doubt that the bmw cannot wheel spin, i've wheel spun in my saxo the first day i got it due to getting use to the clutch/acc but does **** ur tires up wouldnt be done it on purpose.
The saxo i posted wasnt just a modified body he had performance mods aswell. People our age depending on what they do can afford a few mods in the engine such as air filters, chips n all that crap. Can pickup an air filter on eBay for £10 might not do much but not exactly massivly expensive.

that saxo with the kit on looked ****, most saxos look ****, there is no denying that u will want a bigger engine than a 1L soon enough, all this talk about doing up cars making u a chav, i guess im a chav as both the polo and the mini are modded, and my bug was 2!
oh and BHP and Torque show power and acceleration. not to mention if ur running cheap/****ty tires ur bound to be able to wheel spin everywhere + Traction Control and so on and so on, but most likly a 1.8 % Series is well slow, i mean the friggin 2.5 5series r slow enough!

People assume if you have a modded car your a chav? Its just the same as anything else, music, clothes and all that bollox.

u dont have to own a car to be a chav. most chavs cant afford cars hence y the busses r so ****.
i mean i kno a kid with a mk3 escort, propper ****ty looking this with steelies and a matt black bad boy bonnet with holes drilled into the exhaust, yet he skates almost non stop...
ps: if u do mod ur car i hope u like driving slow cause the police will follow u everywhere..

thats pretty much how the polo is atm, although sum1 kicked the wing in(disrespectful *******s round by me) and im starting to rly want a mk1 GTI so thinking of selling up,
the mini is still awaiting head work(no funds atm) and for me to have time to work on it(doing what feels like 389938 hours a week at work and the rest is spent seeing the mrs or catching up on what i missed while working lol)
my m8 buyed the bug off me for the engine, which is now in his(but doesn't work lol, he messed all the carbs up and broke the alternator :P)
Id just like to state that my Break pads just collapsed, and what i mean by 'just' is like 1hour ago. I was driving back from morrisons because i needed petrol as you do, all of a sudden i heard as what i thought was a scrapping noise in the front left arch above the wheel.
I pulled over straight away, had a look but not having the knowledge i didnt even know what i was looking for. So, i thought id look at both wheels and compare them, see if there was any difference, i then spotted the break pads had collapsed!
I had no choice but to drive it home, when i got home i rang a friend up and his dad came to pick the car up for repairs.
So guys, if you have any experiences that involve scrapping of the wheel arches, thats most likely your problem.

The wheels and tires are new, well, not so much the alloys they have a few scrapes but they are not so bad. Tires ive just had replaced, they are called Tornado's or something along those lines, low profiles.
Yeh break pads are quite cheap, it was only the left hand side anyway because when i breaked, the car drifted off to the right.
