    i am using vista home basic not had any problems at all with mir :S but running a server i think it dosent like it too much with 1.9+ servers i am not sure though but they dont seem to work for me on vista have you tryed turning UAC in vista ? i have it off hope it helps

    its all on the same pc using 172.0.0.1 all the ips are set to that in the server files and the client i am using 1.9 files
