I have heard that 3in1 does not mess up TCP/IP on win server 2003
can anyone say for sure that it does not

The fact that my server is also a host PC I cant risk running 3in1 unless I am sure it will not mess anything up

If anyone has any info post away

I have ran this on win2003 and reboot many times, never screwed up my set up in any shape or form.

Grab the file required - do a search on google for it.
Stick it in your WIndows\System32 directory

run this:

regsvr32 \windows\system32\MSWINSCK.OCX

when i origonally got the files and ran 3IN1 my settings never screwed up, im running windows xp but i have VB6 installed so perhaps its only users who do not have MSWINSCK.OCX that it effects bad ?

anyone who has VB6 runtime files have problems with 3IN1 running XP ?

Well when i ran the program on Windows 2003, it told me quite straight that it never had that OCX, so thats why i went off and found it and registered it on the system. Before installing this file it refused to run at all.

just to update you all i have 3in1 running since last night dont seem to have any probs (win2K3)

only thing is nobody from outside can connect to the reg server as its running on the server ip (local) and not the net ip

guess all of us running a server on a router will have our own privite reg servers :P

but from what i can see once you reg the .OCX file on the system (win2K3) all runs fine

if you are running 3in1 on a router just forward whatever port you chose to it, and people will be able to connect to it. example i have forwarded port 60320 to a machine on a router whose ip is 192.168.1.102 but people connect to the wan ip which is 24.74.119.131 and it works a dream
