What do you require? Tower with everything, monitor, speakers & other peripherals?

Can build a semi-decent tower for about £380 nowadays.

Agreed, there is no such thing as a cheap gaming machine! the cheapest your going to get a half decent gaming machine for is around £400-£700 and of course build it yourself, if your looking to just buy a pre built tower, dont expect much performance from it! This is going from personal experience, i went to pc world when i was younger paid about £900 for a pc package to later find out i could have built it myself for half the value or if you like have a machine atleast twice the performance for the money i spent.

Good luck anyhow

Tai that was hardly slagging, i overlooked that post yes, but still.. a basic idea of what spec hes looking for or atleast which proccessor make he would like to go with would help pointing him in the right direction.

Here's an AMD tower which isnt too bad for the price and a free upgrade to 2TB:

Here's an Intel based tower which also isnt too bad for value:

Especially not from eBay.

Scan and Aria have been the best for component's I've found latley. Overclockers sometimes have some nice deals pop up.

Ebuyer seem to have fallen behind imo.
