At work atm so cant test this, should be a daft question.

On 2.3 the exp field is capped at 32000. This limits me somewhat. I can get around this, say, by increasing the server exp rate to x10?

So while the max is 32k exp with the current scheme, max would be 320k if the exp was x10 (IE still being 32000 in the database but using the exp global multiplier?)

Erm yeh I guess? At the end of the day it's still going to be the same amount of EXP though, as if you change the rate of the server, it's going to affect all the other mobs?

What I was meaning was with a x1 rate max exp is 32k. setting it to x10 and dividing exisiting exp db entries by 10 allows me to put mubs giving 320k exp in, allowing more freedom with exp rates. I cant control it by resetting exp tables due to an existing usercount

Have just tried it and it does work, btw.

there is no limitations with exp rates even at 10k a mob. its a common misconception by server makers / players that bigger numbers = more exp.
