Formating a laptop.

Hi guys
i have an asus laptop with windows 8 on , but i changed it to windows 7 on some computer shop
and i was wondering if anyone knows how to format / reset this laptop to a brand new one.

i want it to be fresh as i bought it with nothing inside
i tried google and youtube and most of them tutorials need CD/Serial number .. Etc
could anyone please help me on this one and ill be thankful.

you can't format without an installation disk. what do you expect to do without an OS?

download a windows iso and burn it to disc

Asus laptops usually come with the OS in a protected partition.
There should be some info with the laptop or even ask Asus for info on restoring it to factory state.

Why not mount an iso into usb stick?... then on bios you set up primary start as usb devices. install your new copy of windows.. (to activate, you should search over internet, there are tons of software/keys)

You will more than likely have a recovery partition to restore to factory defaults, upon boot try pressing F11 & see if it enters recovery.

It may be a different key, watch the BIOS screen & look out for the option.

only way to it is download a new os or buy one from a shop . when you put the os of the windows 7 it would have deleted the old one from the from the lappy i done this many of times for other people :)
