Auto patcher link posted to main thread.

Account creation disabled until 17:00PM

Server is on 2x EXP while the week of open beta is live.

whenever i use the valkyrie.exe , it runs the patcher and then gives me an 'OldClient.exe'


edit- i use the oldclient.exe and i can get to the login screen.


BUT MAN WTF HAVE U DONE TO THE LOGIN MUSIC :disillusionment:

Hi -

Just ignore "OldClient.exe" its just the auto patcher doing its thing.

All should work fine i have tested it a fair few times.

P.S - Gameshop is disabled throughout beta.

Beta really going well, loads of massive positives

- all items revamped, nice base stat prioritizations on some, defensive items are given a boost by adding %ac/mr (instead of being almost irrelvant on on other servers), some rare items from subs i've found have all stats so every class can utilize, bag weight stat on rares, added stats on items like atk spd/crit/max hp instead of generic sc/mc/dc/ac/amc only (i lucked out atk speed neck 1 hour into game).

- Game runs super smooth, unique music in the game is really fukin well done, in caves especially!

- New starting areas and quest progression is refreshing, all caves have mini xp/pot reward repeatable quests, there is a main quest line ingame and it is rewarding and worth your time to follow (some of them have cash shop items for free)

- Characters start with lvl 1 abilities and starter caves are easy to progress char, really well done removing the boring part of mir! new lvl range is refreshing!

- Subs are interesting and bosses at the 2 main start caves are well done, WT aoe lightning isn't stupid damage, it's decent damage + silence, was fun and it does really strong single target tbolt deeps to anyone wishing to solo :P

- Prices for general grocery items are relevant and not just pennies, using cash wisely has a bit of meaning

- Hides dropping from monsters instead of gold (looks like a 50/50 rate) is a good idea, gives pvp and staying alive a better incentive!


I've only found a handful of minor bugs, for adds I know it was good that alt quick selling added to the game but would like more text chars added to the chat and if possible ability to link items to the chat (would give a great feel especially with how good these new items look).

Few notes from my limited time testing on a tao:

'Brtualise the brutes' quest is a level 5 quest, however at lvl13 a single brute is very hard to kill and can kill a 13 tao if no pots. Overall I think some of mob damage is too much. Also spelling error on quest.

Return coords or NPC name for handing quests in would be helpful, I cant appear to find these and can only imagine it will be difficult to remember when you have multiple quests at end game.

'Your first kill' quest is received after other killing quests and is a level 9 quest. Surely should be one of the first quests? Also easier than the brute quest.

Dead tile below coords 295,307 in Dread Province.

I had issues completely muting the sound, even though the bar was at the bottom?

In group mode there appears to be clones appearing near doors or province entrance/exit of your grouped players?

Overall mob damage/hp pool is incredibly high, at 23 tao I was struggling to kill the Ork mobs in the western forest province, which I believe are aimed at a slightly lower level. The kobold boss hits like a truck considering it is a noob quest boss and the first boss you encounter.

There is no map 'autopath' function/run command on the big map (B). Will this be added, it is a useful feature.

Heal should be lower level imo, to assist with quests such as the brutes.

sounds like you didn’t complete the starter quest when you first start and get you’re level 1 spell, otherwise all of them would have been very easy for you

Also

Warrior/Tao/Wizz/Rogue lvl 40 medals (they are called medals for taoist forget about rest of names) are a unique feature that needs to be highlighted better, surprised it's not part of the main quest line. For anyone who doesn't know you can choose 4 medals for each class and choose which one has the kind of stats you want, like a mini specialise feature it's pretty cool (they are upgradeable at later levels through crafting).

If it was me I'd put a medal reward when you complete the western forest questlines and return back to the starter town elder.
