hello every1 can some1 tell me some links pls to some guides how to install a mir 2.3 server for online or offline ,and why do i have a folder called .svn in every folder from the server files?what is svn? btw i know probably some of u will say use the search button or something like that i tryd but i don`t know why i`m w8ing nothing happens...after i don`t know 1 min maby i get a message like this: 30 seconds have passed since i have tryd 2 search but no result was returnd(With IE and Mozilla) something like that,thath`s why i`m posting,pls help me.

SVN is the software that is used to update your server files with ease. The folder .svn inside each folder doesnt affect anything.
If you have downloaded the SVN files and updated yours, then you should see a release folder which off the top of my head I think is in Trunk folder...
well the Release folder is basically the server files.
You will firstly load the server and find you have errors, so to help you solve this quicker here we go... one error will be that you need to copy the mir2.exe into the M2server folder and the other error will be that you need to copy and paste your maps from your 2.3 install into the M2Server>Map folder.
Hope all this helps you out a bit. I may have missed something :err:

i`m very confused coz when i run the m2server.exe i get this in the box with the text

and thats why i`m asking.

read the stickies in the DM2 section like you have been told
maybe then you will learn something for yourself
Setup the SVN and it will download and update the files for you
that way you will ALWAYS have the lastest set of SVN files
