MSN wont let me add contacts

here's another solution...
create a new windows account,
use windows live and login,
see if it's still the same.

tried an older version...but thats pointless cos as soon as u run it it says "a new version is available and must be downloaded now.."

so i deleted everything to do with windows live, then redownloaded it. this time i log in and i have no contacts at all -_-

so i try importing my contact list, and nothing happens.

Tried all of these things now, and downloaded a previous version of MSN didn't work cos as soon as you try to log in it says "a new version is available and must be downloaded in order to continue", so i was back to square one.

Even went as far as deleted everything msn/live related on my comp and reinstalled it, now i dont have any contacts at all XD and still can't add anyone.
