so these vids are actually made by people who are 20+ and even have some skills in video editing then?

Yeah, it started off when the likes of CoD streaming began and people would post videos of their kill streaks etc, then people started to get really into it and over-edit them with sfx/audio and it all became a bit embarrassing, so then people started to parody the videos mocking them with massively over-edited versions, which is where montage parodies was born. I always found it ****ing hilarious but I'm a queer like that. They do actually involve quite a lot of editing and understanding too, the one I posted only took an hour or so but the CoD intervention gun was actually a greenscreen and there were about 20 or so music/video layers in it.
