Reload Merchant.txt

small question, IE does Merchant.txt reload?
When writing a script in a file-NPC who is in Merchant.txt, reload npc and the script works, but when you add-a-npcs merchant.txt, I do reload and does not appear in the city, it is the same as it wants to remove him from the city using ";;;;;;;" reload and do not disappear.
Maybe not at all silent such a function?

as far as i know only way to reload the merchant.txt is by a reboot of the ei.exe
