Hi guys, im thinking about making a retro gaming pc to play mir3 on. Seeing as mir3 was released in 2004/05 when duo core was the rage... is that kind of system best to use? Or as the recommended system is a single core pen 3 800Mhz, am i best to build a pentium 3 1.2Ghz Tualitin system released in 2000, 5 years prior to mor3 release?

Im leaning towards the single core, but thoughts plz?

If you want to go down this route I'd go dual core, it's just strange someone would goto these lengths though

I think its strange that you think its strange. I have a very expensive laptop that makes mir unplayable. So spending £200- to build a retro gaming pc to make a game playable that ive played for over 10 years is nothing. Its not asif its alot of money 😂. Elaborate on the duo core for me, why this choice over the single core Tualatin?

Surely theres some old school brains still out there who have a good idea of a nice system?

Nostalgia aside, aren't you better off building something cheap and cheerful that isn't 15 years old?

The reasoning for the 15year old system is me thinking it'll be the best system for mir3. Single core and gfx cards before all the implimented shaders etc. But as i say, im not sure. I could go for a 2005 system from when mir3 was released, but im not sure of the best system spec.

Dell system, or build my own 2800+ system? If build my own, which gfx cards are best with mir3 from 2004/5?

Thanks for the replies btw guys, appreciate it
