Hiya all, anyone good with this and put it into terms ill understand, I worked for company "A" who went under and was bought out by company "B" everything stayed the same no changes at all expect they paid a little more now company B has lost the contract and in comes company C, company C has already sent letters/application forms to us all but have also said we will be moving from fortnightly pay to monthly this will leave us without pay for 5 weeks and our first pay packet will only be 2 days till the following month can they change when I get paid straight away? Or should I be protected by TUPE law like I was the first time round

Yes
I was TUPEd a few years back and I was always told that the new employer could not touch your contract of employment in any way for a certain amount of time.

Id say you were protected but im no expert - my advice is to speak to C.A.B

This happened to my a few months ago when my casino was bought by another company and yes Tupe protects your current contract from being terminated. The new company gave me a handbook on TUPE and the law and how it would protect me.
