WOTLK Opinions?

I've been retired from WoW for awhile now and always thought that I would try it again when WOTLK comes out. I just want to know what you lot think of the new expansion? Is it worth trying even thought I found WoW extremely boring the last time I played? Will it bring back that feeling I used to get when I was a full-time raider?

Opinions please, otherwise I'll spend my money on a new PS3 game.

It's pretty much exactly the same thing that came when tbc was released. It all feels new and interesting and is to an extent fun, but in the end it's the same old grind race as always.

Ofc I'm only 72 atm and so can't comment on the endgame features yet...

I'm hoping the raids will be more fun as I never really got into TBC raids like I did the vanilla ones.

Get a guide and follow it through, don't stop for anything such as to drink etc. Just kill kill kill. It won't be as enjoyable though. I've managed to level from 1-70 in around 7 days playtime using Brian Kopps guide.

In all honesty I think 70-80 is alot easier to level than 60-70.

70-71 only took me around 3+1/2 hours. Someone reached 80 within 27 hours (even if they did have a pocket healer help).

o.0 How you level so fast lol, All i do is quests to level up, not into grinding so hard, i have some WoW guide book here but never used it, me and my little minion struggle against 2 mobs attacking me at once lol .

Woke up this morning and WOTLK was on the desk so bro must got it, probably useless for me until lvl70 ^^.

I used that to level my last alt, really nice addon that removes the need to continually look at a guide .

Combine it with cartographer and u get crazy taxi arrows as well.

I'm in the same boat as you Loz, quit around this time last year and was tempted to come back for WotLK, but the ****ty university halls internet made the decision for me, as it's far too sucky to play WoW.

LOL SLOW. Friends paladin did it in 1 day and 23 hours. I OWN ALL THE EPEEN IN THE WORLD. Used friend as an example as I havn't leveled a paladin.
