Idiot guide?

is there an idiot guide for someone new to crystal files?
only want to get a server up for me and a few mates.
cant seem to find one.
i got bits to load on the server but wanted to know what client to use and how to add files people have offered into the db as apposed to adding absolutly everything
i dont mind a pm if that helps

If you can't work out how to setup crystal then yes, you are officially stupid

download crystal files click server exe it will load everything u need same with client click it and it will download the base client

download Jevs new database and then you will need to port forward (if you dont have a host) to allow your friends to join

i think they did yes and 2.3 files

I thought 2.3 ran from the access files themselves. Been a while so not 100%

heroes ran from access DB but I havent touched any files earlier than the 2012 heroes files

Thanks, i think I've checked most of these sites in the past. I'm sure i have them somewhere on a old hard drive - but it would be nice to mess around with a copy.

Yeah they are there. If not I have a copy I can share. But don’t make public server with them. Didn’t he code back doors into it. Did he ever release the code

Back doors were present in the files from what I’ve ever heard about the files.
