It was aimed for Formal letters/emails etc.
On an informal forum, such as LOMCN, correct grammar seems inapropriate, well not inapropriate, but unneccessary.
Because when we type in txt or short-hand you can still understand it perfectly well.

Putting it in the wrong place can totally **** up a sentance, aswell as not using it atall..
e.g

p.s, lol at the dyslexia comment, i (actually do) have dyslexia and it doesn't effect my typing, sure sometimes i spell things wrong but appart from that it's easy, you can always go back and re-type stuff. if it effects it that badly why do you think they let dyslexic people take exams on computers instead of hand written?
