This is how people start doxing others.
GDPR is crucial in everything. There are protocols advising never to use your first name and last name for creations.
I know there are show offs who use their first name or last name for things but I would advise against it.
There's too much breaching in the Cyber-World with bosses sweeping it under the rug.

The problem with ApocV2 was you had to validate your email address, so even if a fake name was used, the email still had to be legit. It's a pity at that particular time I wasn't aware so many email providers allowed the + addressing including the one I used in that case

Would be interesting to hear a response as to why different rules apply to different individuals.
But alas, lomcn staff are more likely to make a "your wife" joke and steer away from their actual actions.

From what I'm seeing, the OP has clearly made a hoax.
It's like calling 999 and saying my neighbour's house is on fire, only for the Fire Brigade to turn up and see there was no fire at all.

But it's not a hoax, multiple players have had the email and have questioned how based on email addresses being used 1 time etc, I was also feeding back on that because I had a legit concern that emails have been leaked/given/sold whatever you want from another server to be used for marketing of a new server that initially (supposedly) had nothing to do with it.
Again it's not even the fact it was used for that purpose but it would be nice to know (truthfully) how it came to be?

Whats the legit ******* concern? You signed up to Apoc V2, one of Hany's servers in which the mailing list has been complied from. When you sign up to use a product or service you are giving first party GDPR consent. That data can then legally be used for any future advertising or marketing purposes.

Because of having to verify email many players have had work emails they used to sign up for that server only emailed. So shared.
So it’s not a data breach just Hany has all your data and will share and use it when he wants with who he wants. Who knows if he provides it for free or selling it. You provided it so tough luck. That’s the vibe anyway.
